An audience judged drawing competition for fun, bragging rights and creative supremacy.
Creative staff members and communicators gathered for a one of a kind Ohio State event Thursday, May 21 at King Avenue 5.
Ink Madness, hosted by the Ohio State Designers Group, was a live black marker drawing contest where artists go head-to-head in an audience judged drawing competition for fun, bragging rights and creative supremacy.
Each artist was given 60 minutes to complete an illustration based on themes chosen the day of the event, and the winner was selected by popular audience vote. Themes involving Brutus included Brutus and the Walking Dead, Brutus Drives NASCAR and Brutus on Saturday Morning Cartoons, among others. John K. Victor, senior graphic designer at the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences won with his rendition of Brutus on America's Got Talent. Other participants included Kris Bazen, graphic designer in Athletics, Chelsea Rye, graphic designer in the College of Education and Human Ecology, Kerri McTigue, senior graphic designer in the College of Optometry and Jason Shults, senior graphic designer in University Communications.
